The 2026 RC boating season is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in recent memory — packed with major racing events, a full hydroplane calendar, and plenty of reasons to get a fast gas boat on the water. Whether you’re watching the action at a NAMBA event or building your own Zenoah-powered hull from scratch, here’s what’s happening and how Enforcer RC Boats can be part of your build.
The Racing Calendar Is Loaded
If you live for competition, 2026 is your year. The 2026 NAMBA Nationals heads to Kennewick, Washington, July 20–26, featuring a full slate of nitro, gas, and electric classes — including the always-spectacular 1/8 scale unlimited hydroplanes. Earlier in the season, NAMBA District 19 already ran its sanction 26-008 event (April 11–12) covering all nitro, gas, and electric classes, keeping the competitive momentum going from the winter months.
On the IMPBA side, the 2026 Gas Nationals at Chaplin Lake in Hollywood, South Carolina (May 14–17) is a must-attend for serious gas racers, running all legal IMPBA classes in a National Champion Shootout format. The Atlanta Spring Nationals (April 18–19), Gas Clash (April 24–26), and Saginaw Bay Classic (May 17) round out a spring schedule that barely gives you time to breathe between events.
Hydroplane fans are treated to R/C Unlimiteds’ full 11-weekend schedule, which opened with the Atomic Cup in Finley, Washington, on April 12 and rolls through the Bill Muncey Memorial, Champion Spark Plug Regatta, and Rose Cup before culminating at the NAMBA Nationals. The Madison Regatta (July 3–5) and Apollo Mechanical Cup at Seattle’s Seafair Festival (July 31–August 2) round out a spectacular summer.
Enforcer Hulls: A Serious Foundation for Your Build
Enforcer RC Boats builds hand-laid fiberglass hulls for serious hobbyists who want quality construction as the foundation of their gas boat project. These aren’t off-the-shelf cookie-cutter boats — they’re platforms built for enthusiasts who know what they want and want to build it right.
- Orange Enforcer Super G Complete RTR: Comes equipped with a Zenoah G230RC air-cooled engine and Enforcer clutch — a great starting point for hobbyists who want a capable gas boat to tune and develop.
- Enforcer Mega G: Available in Orange, Black, and White — a larger platform for builders who want more hull and more room to spec out a powerful engine setup.
- Enforcer RC Turn Fins: Designed specifically for Enforcer hulls to help dial in handling and cornering characteristics as you develop your setup.
Zenoah Engines: The Heart of Any Gas Build
In the gas-powered world, Zenoah engines remain the benchmark for reliability, tunability, and long service life. The G230, G260, G270, G290, G300, and G320 all have proven track records in the hobby. Whether you’re speccing a new build or maintaining a current one, having the right engine and parts on hand makes all the difference.
Enforcer RC Boats carries a full selection of Zenoah engines and parts — repair kits, piston rings, top-end kits, and the G320PUM marine engine for serious power. Our team can help you find the right match for your hull and goals.
