If you’ve been searching for a gas-powered RC boat that delivers raw power, professional-grade components, and straight-out-of-the-box performance — the Enforcer Mega G (Orange) is exactly what you’ve been waiting for. Built in the U.S.A. and powered by the legendary Zenoah G320RC 32cc air-cooled engine, this boat is the big brother to Enforcer’s world-famous Super G. Here’s everything you need to know to get it running right and keep it running great.
What’s in the Box
The Mega G arrives Ready to Run (RTR), meaning you get a fully assembled, competition-ready package right out of the box. Key components include:
- Zenoah G320RC 32cc Engine – A proven, air-cooled powerplant trusted by serious RC boaters worldwide
- Bonzi Billet Clutch (V2.0) – CNC-machined for maximum reliability and smooth power transfer
- Enforcer SPD III Dual Rudder Outdrive – Precision steering and drive system built for performance and durability
Step 1: Pre-Run Checklist
Before you ever hit the water, go through this checklist every single time:
- Check all hatch hold-down clips are secure — a flooded boat ends your day fast
- Inspect the push rod seals for wear or cracking — replace them if there’s any doubt
- Check propeller for nicks or damage — even small dings hurt performance and can cause vibration
- Confirm the fuel lines have no cracks and fittings are tight
- Verify the throttle and steering servo response before launching
Step 2: Breaking In the Zenoah G320RC Engine
New engines need a proper break-in period to seat the rings and reach peak performance. Here’s how to do it right:
- Use a 25:1 fuel/oil mix (high-quality synthetic 2-stroke oil) for the first 2-3 tanks
- Run at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle for the first tank — no full-throttle bursts
- Gradually increase throttle over the next 2 tanks, keeping runs short with cool-down periods
- After break-in, switch to a 30:1 or 40:1 mix depending on your oil’s recommendation
- Always use fresh, high-octane fuel (91+ octane) — ethanol-free if possible
Step 3: Carburetor Tuning Basics
The G320RC ships with a factory tune, but water temperature, altitude, and humidity all affect carburetor performance. If your engine is running lean (hot, high-pitched) or rich (blubbery, slow to rev):
- High-speed needle: Turn out (counter-clockwise) to richen, in (clockwise) to lean. Start with 1/8-turn adjustments.
- Low-speed needle: Affects idle and low-throttle response. Adjust in 1/16-turn increments.
- A properly tuned engine will have a crisp throttle response, clean idle, and a slight “4-stroking” sound at full throttle (a tiny bit rich is safer than too lean)
Step 4: Water Setup and Trim
- Start in calm, open water with room to maneuver
- Adjust the outdrive angle to get the bow to ride slightly high — this reduces drag and increases top speed
- Use the dual rudder system to dial in straight-line tracking before pushing speed
- If the boat porpoises (bouncing bow up and down), lower the outdrive angle slightly
Step 5: Post-Run Maintenance
- After every session, run a small amount of after-run oil through the engine
- Rinse the hull with fresh water — especially if you ran in anything other than clean freshwater
- Dry and inspect the push rod seals, hatch seals, and propeller
- Store with the fuel tank empty to prevent gumming in the carburetor
